   1. Increase energy storage systems
      • Back-up power and long duration energy storage

      • Microgrids, 5MW microgrid system to gain independence from SCE
   2. Large-scale power generation
      • 2000 acres of solar – 200 MW
      • Previous developer backed out
      • Long distance to larger transmission (5-7 miles)
   3. Interconnection support
      • Challenges with interconnection, rights of way/easements, CAISO, substation access
        • Substation/Power station is on adjacent non-Tribal land
      • The eservation has 1 main line that comes into the casino then through different roads and finally the housing community (which is on a loop system)
      • Work with SCE to relocate lines
   4. Smaller-scale power generation
      • A 30-50 acre solar grid system to connect to the casino to provide direct power reduction
6. Energy ordinance is established, but the Tribe is interested in a Tribal Utility
   1. WAPA credit allocations, Hoover Dam
   2. Previous BIA Tribal energy development and capacity grant
   3. A Joint Powers Agency with Chemehuevi (Tribal Power Exchange)
      • This involves offloading directly with the casino and billing back at a 90% rate, allowing those funds to build an energy projects fund.
