May 2025 Webinar on Advancing Tribes’ Interests at the CPUC

This webinar covers:

  1. How SCTCA has been participating in a Self Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) proceeding through multiple approaches to protect Tribal interests in energy storage rebates, demonstrating multiple options that Tribes can use to participate in CPUC proceedings,
  2. How to navigate the CPUC website to find a proceeding and how to sign up for the Tribal Order Instituting Rulemaking (OIR) proceeding, and
  3. Identifying and discussing CPUC-related topics and issues of importance to your Tribe.

TECC is developing and hosting this training series as part of its initiative to build sustainable capacity for Tribes to participate in CPUC decision-making processes and access clean energy programs. This training is being funded by CPUC Equity, Engagement, and Education (EEE) grants secured by SCTCA, Barona Band of Mission Indians, and San Pasqual Band of Mission Indians on behalf of TECC.
