June 2025 Webinar on Advancing Tribes’ Interests at the CPUC

The Tribal Order Instituting Rulemaking (Tribal OIR) (R.22-02-002) covers the Tribal Consultation Policy, Tribal Land Transfer Policy, and other topics of importance to Tribes (with the potential option to add topics). Presenters walk through the process of becoming a party to a proceeding (generally a requirement to participate in and influence rulemaking) which Tribes can follow to become a party to the Tribal OIR and any other proceeding of interest.

TECC is developing and hosting this training series as part of its initiative to build sustainable capacity for Tribes to participate in CPUC decision-making processes and access clean energy programs. This training is being funded by CPUC Equity, Engagement, and Education (EEE) grants secured by SCTCA, Barona Band of Mission Indians, and San Pasqual Band of Mission Indians on behalf of TECC.
