The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is accepting public comments on proposed changes to 2 CFR Part 200, the Uniform Guidance that governs most federal funding. Several proposed changes could impact Tribal governments, Native nonprofits, Tribal colleges, Native CDFIs, and other Native-serving organizations, including:
- Changes to fixed amount subawards
- New requirements related to reimbursement requests and drawdowns
- Updates to award oversight and termination provisions
- Additional review requirements before awards are issued
