Eligibility
Grant funds are only awarded to a legal entity, for example:
- Nonprofit organization
- 501(c)(3) or equivalent (i.e., school, hospital or religious institution)
- Public or governmental entity
- For-profit entity doing charitable work
Eligible Activities
The Foundation aims to support holistic solutions across education, health, food and workforce systems working toward racial equity and racial healing. To advance these goals, it supports organizations that:
- Develop strategies for creating more just and equitable systems.
- Build community power.
- Change narratives about the role of racism in shaping people’s experiences.

Applicants must register through the Fluxx portal to view and complete the application.
Preferences
Focus areas from past awards include Early Care and Education, Strong and Equitable Food Systems, Health and Health Equity, Jobs and Family Economic Security, and Promise of an Equitable Future.
