The National Tribal Geographic Information Support Center (NTGISC) is offering members an 8-week, 16-session online course on using ESRI’s ArcGIS Pro. The course begins with introductory geography skills and familiarizes students with the software, essential tools and workflows to visualize spatial data and perform fundamental analysis.

This advisory group advances regional climate priorities and community-driven solutions for local governments. Members bring diverse lived experiences and perspectives to help shape sustainability initiatives and ensure they reflect the needs of historically underserved communities. Members will receive $150 per meeting for their time and for sharing their perspectives.

The Charger Service Skills Accelerator provides grant funding for projects that will increase the qualified workforce needed to service electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment. Funding will support training that leads to portable, industry-recognized credentials and may be used to expand existing training programs to include EV charging equipment service.

The Resilience Hub Academy (RHA) is a comprehensive online “Masters Program” designed for those interested in learning more about Resilience Hubs and developing the skills to plan, design, and implement a Resilience Hub or network of Resilience Hubs in their community. The academy covers all the essential aspects of Resilience Hubs, while also connecting participants with content experts in a fun, interactive environment. Registration for the Winter 2027 National RHA is listed as opening in early August 2026.

The PROSPECT Program will support collaborative approaches that strengthen educational pathways across the entire critical minerals and materials value chain—from mineral resource development and extraction through processing, manufacturing, recycling, and related supply chain activities. The PROSPECT Program is intended to foster collaboration among universities, industry, national laboratories, community colleges, trade schools, and other workforce partners to develop scalable models that expand the domestic talent pipeline. The official solicitation and application details for PROSPECT have not yet been released.

To address NIOSH's mandate to ensure an adequate supply of qualified personnel to carry out the purposes of the Occupational Safety and Health Act. ERCs are academic institutions providing high-quality, interdisciplinary graduate and post-graduate training, research training, continuing education, and outreach.

The Certificate in Climate Action Planning (CAP) is an online program designed to help individuals create and implement climate action plans. Through engaging live classes, practical assignments, and expert presenters, participants will gain tools to mobilize community members in reaching emission-reduction and climate resiliency goals. Topics include community engagement, vulnerability assessments, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions accounting, strategies for mitigating GHG emissions, creating resilient communities, climate and social justice, and implementation. The program costs $3,500, with installment plans available to all and reduced rates for Gonzaga students.

Competitive Edge is a collaborative outreach initiative designed to empower local residents, strengthen community partnerships, and connect local talent with long-term careers in the utility sector. Their signature program is a 6-week, 224-hour pre-apprenticeship that prepares San Diego residents ages 18+ for careers in the utility industry.Each cohort brings together 20 candidates for a 6-week, 224-hour pre-apprenticeship. Participants receive: a weeklong bootcamp and hands-on technical training; OSHA and First Aid/CPR certifications; resume building and workplace communication workshops; and personal development and career readiness support. SDCE provides a weekly per-hour stipend along with daily breakfast and lunch. Each participant is also paired with a dedicated mentor who provides guidance throughout the program.

Juniper & Pine Consulting offers Indigenous healing-centered certificate programs designed for individuals beginning their journey as a healing-centered facilitator, deepening their capacity as an Indigenous regulation practitioner, or preparing to carry a specific curriculum into their own Nation and community. Limited work/trade scholarships are available for Tribal Members and Indigenous participants. Tribal Members and those who identify as Indigenous are eligible to complete the certificate program at a reduced cost.

TECC’s Innovation Ecosystem is a core Economic and Workforce Development program initiative bringing Tribes and clean tech startups together to strengthen Tribal sovereignty, resilience, and long-term economic prosperity while enabling businesses to scale. This new Advisory Board will provide strategic guidance and subject-matter expertise. A participation stipend will be available to TECC Tribal representatives.
