The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will award approximately $22.4 million for Sustainable Communities and Strategic Partnerships transportation planning grants. These grants are intended to directly benefit the multimodal transportation system and strengthen the economy, promote equity, and protect the environment. The results of completed grants should lead to programmed and implemented transportation improvement projects.
